<h1>字義研究 : 神的義 - 賴瑞珍牧師 - 9-16-2020</h1>

弟兄姊妹, 今天來分析“神的義” 這個名詞。

“神的義”這個名詞在中文看來相當清楚, 但是在英文譯本當中, 它卻有三種不同的翻譯, 以至於它有三種不同的含義。

我們用 NIV 來作例子。

這三種不同的英文翻譯是:

1.    A righteousness from
God

2. The righteous of God

3. God’s righteousness

我們一個一個來看。

<h2>1. A righteousness from God</h2>
這個名詞在聖經中出現 3 次 (NIV)。它們都出現在羅馬書。

羅馬書

1:17因為神的義, 正在這福音上顯明出來。這義是本於信, 以致於信。如經上所記, 『義人必因信得生。』

1:17 For in the gospel a
righteousness from God is revealed, a righteousness that is by faith from
first to last, just as it is written: "The righteous will live by
faith."

3:21但如今神的義在律法以外已經顯明出來, 有律法和先知為證。

3:21 But now a
righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the
Law and the Prophets testify.

3:22就是神的義, 因信耶穌基督, 加給一切相信的人, 並沒有分別。

3: 22 This righteousness
from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is
no difference,

<h2>2. The righteous
of God</h2>

這個名詞在聖經中出現 1 次 (NIV)。

林後5: 21神使那無罪的, 〔無罪原文作不知罪〕替我們成為罪, 好叫我們在他裡面成為神的義。

2 Cor
5:21God made him who had no sin to be sin a for us,
so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

<h2>3. God’s righteousness</h2>

這個名詞在聖經中出現 2 次 (NIV)。都在羅馬書。

3:5我且照著人的常話說, 我們的不義, 若顯出神的義來, 我們可以怎麼說呢？神降怒, 是他不義麼？

3:5 But if our unrighteousness brings out God's
righteousness more clearly, what shall we say? That God is unjust in
bringing his wrath on us? (I am using a human argument.)

10:3因為不知道神的義, 想要立自己的義, 就不服神的義了。

10:3 Since they did not know the
righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did
not submit to God's righteousness.

在這三種不同的英文翻譯當中, 我們認為 “The righteous of God”和. “God’s righteousness”非常相近, 可說是一樣。

但是 “A righteousness from
God”和“The righteous of God”是有不同。這是因為它們用的 “介系詞”不同。

“The righteous of God”表示這是 “神本身自己的義”, 而 “A righteousness from
God”可以表示這是 “神特別賞賜給人的義”, 這二者是不同的。
